Grape variety: 100% Merlot
Expansion: French oak barrels, 40% of which are new, 12 months
Color: Deep dark red
Nose: Enchanting change of impressions. Red currant, cherry jam, mint chocolate and cedar are just some of the impressive flavors.
Taste: Rich, almost excessive fruit supporting the well-integrated tannins. The theoretically high alcohol content is balanced by acidity and is expressed primarily as sweetness and volume. Long finish with notes of chocolate.
Goes with: Red meat, grilled or braised, roasted poultry such as turkey or goose, game, oven-baked piglets, soft and savory cheeses.
Alcohol content: 14.5% vol
Drinking temperature: 18-20 degrees
Shelf Life: At least 15-20 years after harvest, still a revelation.


This dense, full-bodied wine with its complex aroma of small wild berries is made from organically grown grapes of the famous Merlot grape variety.
