The first sparkling wine from the Drama terroir

The first sparkling wine from Drama's diverse terroir opens a new chapter for the region. The “Dawn’s Birth” vineyard is located in the mountainous Kataphyto at an altitude of 830 meters, where it is “bathed” by the first rays of sun! The freshness and complexity of this unique terroir is now also expressed in the elegant Costa Lazaridi Blanc de Blanc Brut of the Vidiano variety.

Grape variety: 100% Vidiano

Aging: Traditional method of making sparkling wine in which the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, where the wine remains in contact with its yeasts for at least 24 months.

Color: Light yellow with green reflections

Nose: aromas of brioche and rolls, characteristics of 24 months aging in bottle. Attractive, fresh aromas reminiscent of lemon, citrus fruits, green apple and pear.

Taste: The finesse of Vidianο meets the intensity and minerality of Katafyto. The result is a sparkling wine with a cool and elegant mouthfeel and a long fruity finish.

Pairing: Ideal as an appetizer, accompanied by shellfish such as oysters, scallops, quinces and mussels. It can be combined with fish dishes such as shrimp, monkfish and lobster, cooked in the oven or even steamed. An excellent combination with sweet, creamy cheeses such as Manouri, Camembert, Brie and Parmesan.

Aging potential: 10 years
